Food and drink organisation Produced in Kent has bid farewell to its chief executive of the last four years.
Floortje Hoette bowed out of the role - and has now taken up the position of chief executive of the Folkestone Leas Lift Company.
She first joined Produced in Kent just before the pandemic, in January 2020, having previously been external relations officer for the Kent Business School at the University of Kent.
Following her departure, Susie Warran-Smith, previously its chair, has taken on the CEO role on an interim basis.
The outgoing CEO said: “I look back on four amazing years with Produced in Kent, working with the best team and board for a truly inspiring community on a topic that is, and always will be, very close to my heart.
“Serving as CEO has been a real honour and privilege and I am so grateful for the opportunity to have worked alongside such dedicated and passionate individuals joining hands together to support and grow the food industry in Kent.”
Produced in Kent, a membership organisation, is also the organiser of the annual Taste of Kent Awards.
