NORTH Kent Chamber of Commerce is keen to promote new membership. The chamber is Kent's largest and stretches from Dartford through Medway to Swale.
It works with three councils, Swale, Medway and Dartford, supports the Medway Small Business Awards, offers expert advice on any business matter and has the strongest international division in the South East.
Membership secretary Eddie Sparkes said: "We listen to what local business needs from its chamber and respond by putting on events that people want and offer heavily discounted services of value to our members.
"I shall be available at our Bluewater, Sittingbourne and Medway offices to discuss any membership queries."
The chamber is using the University of Kent at Medway as one of its main training providers. This has proved a popular move with members and the standard of training on offer matches members' requirements.
The chamber's president, Jeff Brown, is also director of operations at the University of Kent at Medway.
He said: "This Chamber is rapidly becoming the voice of the business community across Kent. It is innovative and talks the language of commerce in a way that is credible to our members. If you want to improve your company's prospects this is a must-join organisation."
