A law firm has attracted a City high-flyer to bolster its corporate and commercial team.
Maidstone-based Brachers has appointed Erol Huseyin, who has been a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright in London for the past 10 years.
Mr Huseyin has 20 years’ experience advising businesses and lenders on all aspects of commercial transactions, specialising in the energy sector.
He decided to leave the City to start a new phase of his career working closer to his wife and two children, who he lives with just outside Tonbridge.
Mr Huseyin said: “I am thrilled. Brachers deservedly has a high reputation for its wide-ranging work with businesses across the spectrum in Kent.
“There is a strong team of experienced lawyers at the firm and I am really looking forward to working with them to bring clients the advice and guidance they need.”
Brachers head of corporate James Bullock added: “His experience speaks for itself and I have no doubt that clients will greatly value working with him due to the knowledge, insight and support he can bring them.
“His appointment comes as we continue to invest in the strength and depth of our business and commercial teams – as the trend continues of businesses seeking specialist advice locally rather than gravitating to London.”
