A college will hold an open day this week aimed at showcasing career-enhancing courses.
MidKent College will host its adult and professional training event at its University Centre in Maidstone on Wednesday, March 13 - open to prospective students, apprentices and businesses looking to find out more about the range of courses and facilities on offer.
Chris Hare, executive director at MidKent College, said: “Our higher education environment at the University Centre Maidstone campus provides university-style education. Our approach ensures that students can enjoy their studies, grow as professionals and, crucially, make progress and achieve valuable qualifications to help them in their careers.
“For anybody in Maidstone looking for accessible and affordable higher education without the university price tag, it is the logical choice.
“We also work with around 900 employers from Maidstone’s business community, to provide training and higher apprenticeships that address local area skills shortages. We hope that local businesses will also take this opportunity to visit the college and hear about the professional qualifications on offer.”
MidKent College established its University Centre Maidstone in 2011 and carried out a £25 million refurbishment in 2014.
The event runs from 3.30pm to 7.30pm. To register visit here.
