COMEDIAN Norman Pace is joining a team of hot-shots at a business conference in Priestfield Stadium next month.
Norman, half of the Hale and Pace duo, is teaming up with Terry Morrison, a comedy writer and performer for BBC and ITV, at "Going for Goal" hosted by North Kent Chamber of Commerce in the banqueting suite at the Gillingham football ground.
He will join delegates at the half-time lunch break before launching a double act with Terry on "effective communication”. They will also answer questions and answers from the floor.
Other speakers in the line-up are Marc Hume, chief executive of the Thames Gateway Kent Partnership and former head of economic development and tourism with Medway council; Professor David Melville, vice-chancellor of the University of Kent; Graeme Jones, the Royal Bank of Scotland's area manager for Maidstone and Medway; and marketing guru Malcolm Gallagher.
The event, sponsored by the University of Kent at Medway with Kent Messenger Group as media partner, is being held on September 16 from 9am to around 4pm.
