TRY Accord, part of the GallifordTry group based in East Peckham, has appointed Adrian Farrant as commercial director. He joins the company following 10 years as commercial manager with Balfour Beatty Major Projects.

Adrian, a member of the Chartered Institute of Building, has more than 25 years' commercial experience in civil engineering and major building projects. He joins Try Accord at a time of significant expansion following the integration of Galliford Midlands' southern arm into Try Accord at the beginning of the year.

The company is building the Dockside Outlet shopping centre in Chatham Maritime. Adrian, who lives in Ashford, Kent, is a keen sportsman in his spare time enjoying windsurfing, squash and badminton.
