A trio of companies are supporting the county's charitable sector by backing a workshop event.
The Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel, Burgess Hodgson chartered accountants and Jelf insurance are all supporting the KM Charity Team Forum.
Key staff at all 650 Kent schools, together with 4,000 Kent charities, will be invited to the event at the hotel on Friday, October 3.
It will includes a variety of workshop sessions to support and advise the work of the good causes.
Jelf and Burgess Hodgson will host a session to advise the third sector on how professional organisations can support and guide good causes through recent legislation.
One of the most popular sessions is staged each year by Simon Dolby from the KM’s charity department, which briefs good causes on how to apply to be KM Charity of the Year.

Many businesses sit in on this session because it provides information on multiple ways companies can team up with the KM to raise their business profile, support staff and the charitable sector.
