Kent County Council is looking for 11 apprentices to work with adults with learning disabilities.
Adverts have been placed for the positions in the covering Tunbridge Wells, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Cranbrook, Paddock Wood, Edenbridge, Maidstone, Ashford, Dartford, Gravesham, Swanley, Folkestone and Hythe.
The work will include engaging adults with learning disabilities in “meaning and appropriate activities” with local organisations.
Apprentices, who will earn £160 a week, will be training for a level 3 qualification in health and social care.
Patrick Leeson, Kent County Council corporate director for education, said: “This is a great opportunity for young people looking to start their careers within a local government environment.
“The apprentices will gain a health and social care qualification while working and earning and once their apprenticeship has finished they can explore the many employment possibilities within Kent County Council.”
Closing date for applications is Friday, April 29.
