ASHFORD now has the facilities to hold major conferences following the council's decision to redesign and equip the council chambers at the civic centre. More than £100,000 has been invested in the latest computerised video, sound and projection systems, voting equipment and bespoke furniture to create a conference facility available for business and community groups from across the county.

New equipment includes two prism screens, computer-controlled data and video projectors and specially made conference tables. Full details are available from 01233 330305.
