It is being organised by the Kent Housing Group (KHG), a forum for housing organisations across Kent and Medway.

It has representatives from all district, county and unitary authorities in the county, as well as Homes England, the National Housing Federation, the National Landlords Residents Association and the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP).

There will be 12 categories up for grabs, with nominations invited up until the deadline of August 26.

Nominations can only be made by KHG members.

Winners will be revealed in a virtual awards ceremony on October 12.

KHG chair Sharon Williams said: “These awards are always special. Over the years the judging panel has been touched by the passion and purpose behind the vital contributions colleagues in housing are making in Kent. The ideas, the innovation and the vision that are demonstrated illustrate the caring side of housing and the drive we have to make a difference.

“The categories provide the opportunity for us to celebrate the very best of housing in Kent, be that life-changing projects, new and experienced professionals, or processes and practices that are making a real difference. It can always be said that these are challenging times for the sector, but with everything we have experienced in recent years, now is the time to applaud our excellence.”
