Food delivery service Deliveroo has launched in two other Kent towns this week.
High street favourites like Byron Burger and Pizza Express alongside local outlets Kent Kebab & Fish Bar, Golden Dragon and Pizza Time will all be available via the service in Dartford.
KFC, Pizza Express and Burger King are some of the eateries that have already signed up in Ashford.
The company, which allows users to order food on its app and have their favourite food delivered to their door, announced plans to launch the service in Dartford and Ashford last month.
The Ashford service had originally been due to launch last summer.
It comes as the firm looks to go head-to-head with Uber Eats in Dartford, which launched last year.
More than 50 jobs will be created for local people in the first year, with 50 eateries and restaurants set to be partners by the end of the year.
Dan Warne, managing director of Deliveroo in UK and Ireland, "Launching in Dartford is a key milestone for Deliveroo. Dartford has a thriving foodie community and a wide range of restaurants, so we’re excited to connect them. We look forward to working with our new takeaway partners to reach a new customer base and expand their businesses. Deliveroo will also create work for 50 local riders and are thrilled to offer a flexible role to the community.”
Deliveroo has already proved a hit in other Kent towns such as Maidstone, Tunbridge Wells, Sevenoaks and Canterbury - although its riders have been criticised in the city for 'reckless riding'.
The majority of the jobs being created in Dartford will be for riders delivering the food.
Customers have the option to schedule orders via the Deliveroo app up to one day in advance or receive food as soon as possible between 5pm and midnight, from a variety of independent eateries, traditional takeaways and high-quality chain restaurants.
