THE directors of a Dartford business have been banned from having any involvement in the management of another company for five years, after they accumulated £106,000 of debts.

Gurnam Singh Singh, 54, and Baldesh Kaur, 52, both of Fortuna Close, in Hartley were given the five year ban as a result of their conduct as directors of their building services business.

The pair were joint directors of 5K Construction Southern Limited, which operated from premises at 52 Norman Road, in Dartford.

Their company was placed into creditors voluntary liquidation on May 9, 2002.

The Insolvency Service found that Mr Singh Singh and Mr Kaur had caused 5K Construction Southern Limited to fail to maintain and preserve adequate accounting records, and failed to deliver up such records to the insolvency practitioner.
