Second hand watch seller Watchfinder was named Watch Retailer of the Year for the second year running at the UK Jeweller Awards.

The Maidstone firm, which deals in luxury brands, picked up the prize after a year of vetting by judges, including department and store tours as well as face-to-face interviews.

It posted a record turnover of £36 million last year and expects to increase the figure to £56 million in 2015.

Director Lloyd Amsdon said: “We are absolutely thrilled. This goes to show that despite our recorr year, the teams continue to push themselves and excel. Its great to have that recognised.”
