A BUSINESS and marketing degree student at Canterbury Christ Church University College's Thanet Campus, will be promoting baseball and softball throughout Britain this summer.

Daniel Spinks will be working for Major League Baseball which organises national road shows encouraging primary school children to become involved in the two sports.

Daniel, 20, has been passionate about softball since being introduced to it when he was a pupil at St. Anselm's School in Canterbury. He went on to captain the Great Britain Under 19 Team.

Said Daniel: "As well as having the opportunity to work with my favourite sport, doing what I love, I will also be able to learn about professional promotion. This is a large part of my business studies course."
