Leading independent gas bottling company NovaGas is looking to bolster its line-up of Class 2 drivers in line with the firm’s expanding delivery service.
Based in Upper Ruckinge, near Ashford, NovaGas has been supplying LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) to homes and businesses since 1988.
This includes both cylinders and bulk supplies, which can be delivered and installed in storage tanks.
The company also provides industrial gases for pubs, clubs and restaurants across Kent and East Sussex, as well as supplying caravan parks. It is a registered dealer in controlled oils (RDCO) and licensed to fill red diesel and tractor/generator diesel for those eligible to receive it.
Over the years, NovaGas has expanded to keep up with demand. Now, it is welcoming new Class 2 drivers to the team.
Not only does the delivery driver role provide freedom, flexibility and independence, with the opportunity to travel to different locations, but NovaGas is also offering a good salary and bonus scheme. You can also take pride in being a key worker!
"The ideal candidate should reside within easy travelling distance of our Ashford depot and have an in-depth knowledge of Kent and East Sussex,” explains a spokesman for NovaGas.
"Ideally, we require you to hold a valid ADR licence, which must include gases, but we may be willing to assist with this for the right candidate. Please state this in your application.
"You must, however, hold a valid driver’s CPC licence. We can assist with gaining this license"
Successful applicants will receive a basic salary of £27,000 for 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. Some overtime will be available, along with bonuses.
