Two senior figures have joined the board of Kent's inward investment agency.
Locate in Kent, which aims to encourage firms to move to and grow in the county, says the appointments will aid its bid to attract more investment.
Andrew Griggs, senior partner with Kreston Reeves and Sarah Dance, a consultant with more than 25 years in the arts and creative sector will both play a hands-on role in supporting the work of the agency.
Since forming in 1997, Locate in Kent has supported more than 1,100 businesses, helping to create and retain over 70,000 jobs.
Mr Griggs said: “Locate in Kent has a first-class reputation at home and around the world and is responsible for attracting news businesses and jobs into the county. Kreston Reeves has a long connection to Locate in Kent and I am thrilled to join its strong board and to play a role in ensuring the long-term success of the county.”
Sarah Dance, added: “I am passionate about the creative and digital industries as I am about Kent as a whole and look forward to playing whatever role I can to support Locate in Kent’s work in raising the profile of Kent and Medway as the place to locate.”
Locate in Kent CEO Gavin Cleary said: “Andrew and Sarah are terrific additions to our board, and we look forward to working alongside them.”
