Ninety Kent businesses received awards for their philanthropic activities last week.
They were presented with trophies and framed certificates in recognition of their support for the KM Charity Team’s fundraising and educational events and services.
The awards took place at the Ashford International Hotel on Thursday March 7, and were also used to announce a new event to celebrate volunteering.
The Kent Volunteering Awards will include a special category for employee-assisted volunteering.
The partnership awards were hosted by KM Charity Team chief executive Simon Dolby and KM Group head of multimedia Nicola Everett.
Special recognition was made for groups and individuals who have supported the KM Charity Team for five years.
Eleven gold awards were presented in recognition of more than five years of service, and 14 platinum awards for partners who have worked with the KM Charity Team for over a decade.
KM Charity Team chief executive Simon Dolby said: “The support of these people and organisations is absolutely vital to the work we do, and I’m so pleased to be able to say thank you to all of these partners with these awards.”
Any business interested in supporting the volunteering awards is urged to contact KM Charity Team chief executive Simon Dolby on 0844 264 0291 or at SDobly@theKMGroup.co.uk.
