WELL-qualified forces personnel could be just the job for local employers struggling to find the right skills to maintain and grow their business.
A careers fair bringing them together will be held on April 9 at St George's Centre, Chatham Maritime. The Kent Employment Fair is being run by the Ministry of Defence through its Career Transition Partnership.
Around 200 people who will be leaving the services shortly are expected to attend the fair. Some will be looking for advice but most will be seeking jobs.
"This is a great opportunity for companies looking to recruit to meet potential employees," said Peter Jackson, employment consultant with the Regular Forces Employment Association. He can be contacted for further details on 01622 792206.
