THE Kent branch of the Institute of Directors has elected a new member to its executive committee.
Adrian Wenn, a prominent banker who is managing partner at Clydesdale Bank, has joined the committee of nine and brings almost 30 years' corporate experience to his new role.
He is responsible for the bank’s commercial and private banking operations in Kent with a team of 23 operating from offices in Tunbridge Wells and Maidstone.
Mr Wenn, who lives in East Farleigh, near Maidstone, with his wife Sharon and children Hayley and Michael, said: "I am delighted to be joining the committee and hope my experience of dealing with corporate and business clients in the county will be a useful asset to the organisation.”
Alyson Howard, chairman of the Kent branch of the IoD, said: "Adrian’s in-depth financial expertise and knowledge of the business community in Kent and the issues that companies face, make him a valuable addition to the IoD team."
