A free breakfast briefing is to be staged for finance managers to help them steer through the challenges of this year.
Finance Focus 2019 will take place in Maidstone on Wednesday, May 8.
It will guide company directors, owners, financial managers and others through a practical set of actions for the coming financial year, aimed at maximising opportunities for business innovation and growth - whatever the outcome of Brexit.
It will be hosted by business advisors Kreston Reeves.
Tim Levey, partner and head of business advisory at Kreston Reeves said: “Ahead of this year’s events we find ourselves in an unprecedented position with opposing views trying to predict the months and years ahead for the UK economy.
"Clarity is in short supply and some businesses are struggling to navigate a way forward.
"Companies can either mark time or use the uncertainty to their advantage.
"At Finance Focus we will share the opportunities available to facilitate business growth and development and enable those attending to plan decisively”.
Jonathan Neame, chief executive of Shepherd Neame, will be guest speaker and talk about responding to the changing economic landscape.
Other key topics covered include how to raise finance and tax planning.
The event will conclude with a Q&A panel session.
It takes place at the Mercure Maidstone Great Danes Hotel and runs from 8am to 10.30am.
