A new organisation uniting financial services for both businesses and individuals has launched.
The Finance Hub is based in the 1887 building on the Pantiles in Tunbridge Wells and marked its opening with a special event.
Created by Gillian Palmer, director of Sussex-based Lending Made Simple, it aims to bring together financial experts across a range of disciplines, all under one roof, and put them in direct touch with those seeking their services.
She explained: "I’ve thought for a while that the traditional structure for financial services is outdated.
“An entrepreneur might need a business loan, a commercial mortgage, commercial insurance and foreign exchange for their business, and on a personal level require a domestic mortgage, home and personal car insurance, investment and pensions advice.
"Finding the right people to cater for all these needs takes a lot of time, with an element of the unknown at each stage – how can you know that each of the advisers you appoint is committed to your best interests and has the expertise you need, and how can you be sure the left hand knows what the right hand is doing?
“The Finance Hub takes away this uncertainty and stress to provide peace of mind for individuals, couples, families and business owners."
