A COMPUTER made in Kent is being featured on television.
Sky's Discovery Channel highlights the multi-media Cassius Intertainment Centre made by Densitron Technologies, Biggin Hill, in a new hi-tech gadget show.
The Cassius, frequently covered in our Kent Business publication and offered in two prize competitions run earlier this year in that publication and on this website, will appear in He's Gotta Have It on Tuesday at 8pm.
The Cassius, on sale in Harrods and used by the US Navy, is a PC, radio, CD player, DVD player and TV all housed in a slick, super slim LCD flat screen that can hang on the wall like a picture.
The TV programme, created by Outline Productions, also spotlights the Cassius Pro version for business applications, and includes an interview with Cliff Hardcastle, Densitron's founding chairman and the next chairman of Kent Institute of Directors.
Mr Hardcastle said: "The Cassius saves the general consumer from spending thousands on five or six different electrical items. The Cassius Pro can be fully customised to suit the end user's needs and both products are ideal where space is at a premium."
