A business forum in Tunbridge Wells has finally met in-person after more than a year of meetings on Zoom.

More than 35 local business owners and professionals finally gathered at Sankey's in the town for enTWine - which was created a year ago during the second wave of the pandemic.

Its online events had featured the likes of MP Greg Clark and Tunbridge Wells Borough Council chief executive William Benson. It has also raised £2,000 for the local Pickering Cancer Drop-In Centre.

The forum was created by Lynne Gadsden from Grovewood Wealth Management, Pam Loch from Loch Associates Group and Victoria Sampson from CooperBurnett.

Pam Loch said: "I am incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved over the past year. We saw an opportunity to do something together and came up with the idea ‘we listen, we share, we benefit’. I’ve no doubt that I’ve benefited from being a part of enTWine and I hope all our members feel that way too. It’s been fantastic to see everyone again.”

Added Lynne Gadsden: “The three of us we realised that there was a real gap in Tunbridge Wells for a forum where the local business community could gather and share their aspirations and ideas, while also discussing any challenges. We can’t believe that from our little idea that we’d be where we are today.”
