A furniture retailer is marking 80 years in business.
Lenleys opened its first store in Canterbury in 1936 and its marking its anniversary with a celebratory sale.
The company has since moved from the top of Burgate to Roper Road and is in its third generation of family ownership.
Originally launched as a soft furnishing business by partners Leonard Watts and his school friend Stanley Adsett, today it sells upholstery, beds, home accessories and flooring.
Its sale takes place on Saturday and Sunday, September 17 and 18.
Customers will be served bucks fizz and nibbles and can enter a prize draw to win a mattress worth £2,135 and win £1,000 of Lenleys vouchers.
