Gap has opened a new “UK concept store” at Bluewater.

The fashion brand, which has had a space at the shopping centre since it opened in 1999, has opened its new location next to the forthcoming Missguided, which is set to launch this summer.

It is the first “of a new breed of concept design” in the UK and contains Denim Addict, where customers can personalise their garmants with distressing, studs and patches.

Russell Loveland, portfolio director at Land Securities, co-owner and asset manager of Bluewater, said: “Gap’s store, which brings a number of innovations to the guest experience, is part of our strategy to create a select series of statement stores at Bluewater, where the emphasis is on providing something unique.”
