MAIDSTONE-BASED Fileder Filter Systems has appointed Gary Hook as customer service director.

Mr Hook's appointment follows a period of rapid growth that has also involved taking on three new staff in the customer service department. The company now employs 36 people.

Mr Hook has worked for Fileder, which is based on the 20/20 business park at Allington, for the past 15 years and brings a lot of knowledge and expertise to the job.

His appointment was announced at the company's recent annual meeting. Mr Hook said: "It is a delight and a privilege to become customer service director.

"I am very much looking forward to my new role in helping the company to continue its future growth and further improve our customer satisfaction.''
