A SERIES of Assisted Area advice surgeries are being held by Thanet Council's Economic Development team, based at the Kent Innovation Centre on the Thanet Reach business park, Broadstairs. Previous advice surgeries have helped companies to expand, relocate and purchase new machinery.

Plans can be discussed in complete confidence with a grant advisor and the economic development team. The next available date for appointments is Friday July 26. Companies that have already received Enterprise Grants are now entitled to apply for a second one.

Thanet Council's Cabinet Member for Economic development, Cllr Paul Rollins, said:"These surgeries have already proved to be an invaluable opportunity for many local companies to discuss how they could apply for grants to help realise their plans for the future. The experience of our advice team means that businesses in Thanet have become major recipients of grants in the south east."
