AN Orange Business Specialist roadshow gets underway in Kent this month at the beginning of a country-wide tour to assist small businesses.
On April 17 and 18 the roadshow will be at Culpeper Close, Medway City Estate, Rochester and on April 19 at Matilda Close, Gillingham Business Park. Opening hours are from 8am to 5.30pm each day. The roadshow aims to provide practical advice and demonstrations to help small businesses realise their full potential.
The Orange Business Specialist initiative was launched in October last year, appointing local dealers that have at least three years trading experience, a proven track record of selling to small businesses, a dedicated business sales team and customer service helpline to assist with the roadshow.
The initiative recognises the unique demands and enormous market potential of small business customers and equips eligible dealers with dedicated support to help them target the small business effectively.
“Orange business specialists have already helped many UK small businesses find new and more effective ways of working,” says Richard Henson, Channel marketing controller, Orange UK.
Orange UK has invested in a bus, which has been specifically designed and fitted out with the very latest technology approved for use on the Orange network, including phones, personal digital assistants and laptops, demonstrating connectivity via Bluetooth, GPRS and high speed data.
The roadshows will cover everything from how to make and receive calls on the move to accessing office systems remotely. Visitors are invited to bring along their current phone bill and Orange will send it off for independent analysis to ensure businesses are getting the best value from their current communications package.
