Planning permission has been granted for 30 new homes, alongside nursing accommodation on land neighbouring the Demelza Hospice Care for Children site near Sittingbourne.
Longfield-based housebuilder Esquire Developments has secured the go-ahead for the site in Bobbing.
It will also include a parking area for up to 80 vehicles and an outdoor event space for the hospice.
The homes, a mix of two to five-bedroom properties, will also see improvements made to the junction between Keycol Hill and Rook Lane.
The site previously had consent for 20 homes, with the revised proposals enabling sufficient development to fund the nurses accommodation.
David Braddon, director at Esquire Developments, said: “As well as delivery of this vital nurses accommodation, we’ll be building our environmentally-friendly homes and making improvements to local road safety."
Demelza Hospice Care for Children provides specialist care and emotional support for children with serious or terminal conditions and their loved ones.
