Social housing firm mhs homes has signed a multi-million pound contract with a property services giant to carry out maintenance on its properties.
The Medway-based housing provider has signed a contract worth up to £22million with Liberty to carry out heating system servicing and repairs and installation works on tenant's homes and commercial properties in the county.
The five-year deal includes an option to extend for an additional five.
Barry Waller, assistant director of asset management at mhs homes, which is headquartered in Chatham, said: “Our ongoing partnership will enable us to continue providing safe and sustainable homes.”
It was one of a number of major contracts secured by the national firm which also included big deals with Wigan Metropolitan Borough Council and East Devon District Homes.
Ray Jones, group managing director of Liberty, said: “I’m delighted that we have been able to achieve such strong growth in the face of a challenging economic climate. These latest contract wins build on the strong foundations we have as a business."
The deals bring the total number of homes Liberty provide property services to more than 250,000 homes across the UK.
