AN ONLINE forum has been launched by Canterbury for Business (C4B) to enable local businesses to discuss their views and ideas about doing business in the Canterbury area.

At the launch event at Barretts Jaguar showroom in the city last month, Paul Barrett, chairman of C4B, said: "We can only be a truly effective voice for the business community if we are fully aware of its views.

"The forum provides local businesses with an opportunity to ask questions, discuss issues and post their opinions and views, from the convenience of their own workstation.

"The feedback we receive via the forum will enable us to continually update the frequently asked questions section on the site and will ensure that key issues are brought promptly to the attention of the C4B partnership board for lobbying action where appropriate."
