CANTERBURY businesses looking for financial support are invited to a seminar at the Chaucer Hotel on Wednesday, August 18.

The two-and-a-half hour event entitled How To Access The Right Funding For Start Ups and Early Stage Businesses is organised by Business Link Kent, the business advice agency. It aims to offer, local business people, an unbiased and independent overview of available funding, helping attendees gain access to the right source of funding for their business.

Ian Netherton, Business Link Kent's manager of financial packaging, said: "The seminars are for information only, so there is no hard-selling of any particular financial support services. The presenters are all experts in their specialised fields meaning businesses will come away with an idea of what is available to them and what sort of services are most appropriate."
