KENT companies could increase their profits by taking advantage of the latest wireless communications technology.

Innovative technological products will be on display at the Getting The Best From IT exhibition in Thanet on Wednesday, June 23.

The event is being held at St Augustine’s, Westgate-on-Sea, and will feature more than 20 exhibitors, one-to-one advice clinics and a programme of seminars and workshops.

Organised by Technology Enterprise Kent, and supported by SEEDA and Business Link Kent, the exhibition will focus on how wireless communications can help companies operate more profitably.

Russell Bavington-Jones, connectivity and bandwidth project manager at Technology Enterprise Kent, said: "The idea is for people to get a good idea of the practical applications of the latest technology. We often find that companies are aware of what is available but simply don’t know how it can help their businesses.

"Many companies are also unaware of the huge amount of free support that is available to help them make the best use of IT."
