IRON Mountain - the global leader in records and information management services - has become the second multi-national company to move into Isis Reach, Belvedere. The company, which is creating up to 50 new jobs, has 620 records centres, including 31 in the UK, serving 117 markets across the world.
Iron Mountain specialises in the storage and management of business and healthcare records, computer back-up media, vital records, film and sound archives. The company also provides records management consulting, digital archiving and fulfilment services.
The £22.2 million centre at Isis Reach is Iron Mountain's largest investment to date in the UK. The company has initially taken 140,000 sq ft of a new 240,000 sq ft building. UK managing director, John Prowse said: "We are delighted to be moving to Belvedere with its excellent transport links into the City of London and readily available workforce."
The remaining 100,000 sq ft of the building is being marketed by NAI Gooch Webster at £6.50 per sq ft. Isis Reach was created out of the 60 acres formerly occupied by Belvedere Power Station.
