The most influential business people in the county will be revealed in a new list being published by Kent Business.

The rundown, compiled by an independent panel of judges, is designed to give readers an insight into the people who make the big decisions affecting business here.

It is the first time the annual list will be published and will include the 40 most influential figures from the county’s business world.

To make the grade, nominees must own or work for a business or organisation based in Kent.

The list, sponsored by Whitehead Monckton, will also reveal which sectors have increased in importance to the county’s economy over the past 12 months and highlight who has extended their authority across more than one industry.

Although some of the names may not be familiar, the list will highlight who has made an impact and who is set to change things in the near future.
