THE East Kent branch of the Chartered Management Institute is tackling the controversial new licensing laws at its next meeting.

"Continental Café Culture v Lager Lout Lunacy", presented by Ian Webster, will be held on Wednesday, January 19 at Kent Business School on the University of Kent campus, Canterbury, with registration starting at 7pm.

The following month, the topic will focus on the importance of employing disabled people. Entitled "Broaden your minds, Not your doorways," the talk will be presented by Julie Jones on Wednesday February 16. Same time, same venue.
