A LAW firm is giving the county's businesses the chance to learn more about the tricket subject of employees' sickness absence at a seminar.

Andrew Masters, partner and specialist employment lawyer at Furley Page Solicitors, said: "Employers frequently feel helpless when dealing with sickness in the workplace.

"This workshop provides practical and interactive guidance on the do’s and don’ts of managing this increasingly thorny and complex matter."

The workshop, organised in conjunction with Kent Invicta Chamber, is being held at the Marriott Tudor Park Hotel and Country Club, Maidstone, on July 20. It will run from 8am to 11.30am.
