Business guru Lord Digby Jones will talk about opportunities available in the construction sector at a conference next month.
The former Trade and Investment Minister will also highlight the the importance of exporting to the UK at the Construction Expo at the Kent Event Centre in Detling.
More than 200 exhibitors will show off their products and services at the conference, organised by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce and sponsored for the second year by Lee Evans Partnership.
Workshops will focus on social media for the construction industry and companies can try to nab contracts at free Meet the Buyer events.
The government’s head of construction Dr David Hancock will discuss the future of public sector construction projects.
Neil Edwards, chief executive of the Builders Conference will also be attending the event which attracted 2,200 visitors.
Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce chief executive Jo James said “I truly believe it will be a highly productive day for all those involved and as the South East continues to be the hub of the construction industry in the UK this event is a must attend for anyone related to the sector.”
