Businesses from across the county will be gathering today for Medway's biggest B2B event.
The Kent B2B Medway takes place at the Historic Dockyard Chatham and will feature a host of expert speakers and a host of exhibitors.
Organised by the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, the major networking event will take place in one of the maritime site’s iconic covered ship building slipways, No. 3 Slip: The Big Space.
Medway-native and England Rugby World Cup winner, Rachael Burford, will take to the stage as the headline speaker.
Fruit producer AC Goatham & Son’s commercial director, Carol Ford, will share a growth story with a difference as the headline business speaker. She will tell delegates how the company has transformed from humble beginnings to become Britain’s largest grower of apples and pears.
Digital heavyweights, Sleeping Giant Media will be returning to Kent B2B Medway to host social media and digital marketing workshops. CEO Luke Quilter and creative lead Danny Windsor will be sharing their insight into how businesses can market themselves online and why it is important to be honest on social media.
The day started with a business breakfast which heard from Tim Jones, Highways England project director, who provided an update on plans for the Lower Thames Crossing.
It coincides with the 20th anniversary of headline sponsor Medway Council which will be showcasing its successes at the event.
The event is free and delegates can register to attend upon arrival.
