A major jobs fair will take place in May, allowing job seekers the chance to spread their net wide with potential employers.
The KentJobs Fair will take place on Wednesday, May 15 at Canterbury College between 9am and 2pm.
Held in association with the KM Media Group and promoted by the East Kent College (EKC) Group, those attending will get the opportunity to speak to exhibitors about training, apprenticeships, volunteering and self-employment.
Other benefits include the chance to network, collect application forms or even be interviewed on the spot at some stands.
Canterbury College principal Lucy McLeod said: “It’s a great idea that will be really beneficial to our local community as well as a range of employers working across Kent.
"It’ll also be wonderful for our students to see the opportunities available in the Canterbury district and beyond."
Added Neil Webster, commercial director of the KM Media Group: "This event is a fantastic opportunity for people about to make that first leap into the job market or those seeking an opportunity to advance their careers in a variety of different sectors.
“Admittance if free and attendees will have the chance to meet and speak with recruiters and employers as well as officials from a number of different organisations and educational institutes.
“KM Media Group has always had the people of Kent at heart and we are especially proud to link up with the EKC Group for what is a brilliant initiative.”
