Have you just finished school and seeking an exciting career as a hairstylist?
This Kent event is definitely worth a visit.
Saks Apprenticeships offers specialised, high-quality training and development to all apprentices.
They deliver salon-based and academy-based hair, beauty and barbering apprenticeships in Kent and beyond.
Those wanting to find out more about what’s on offer at Saks Apprenticeships can hop along to the Hairdressing taster sessions which will take place at the academy premises in Maidstone on Friday, July 19.
Described as one of the finest training providers in hair, beauty and barbering apprenticeships, Saks Apprenticeships is credited with having trained over 6,500 apprentices in more than 750 salons across the UK.

Those apprentices were given the necessary skills and confidence to go on and embark on successful careers in Hair & Beauty.
“The Hair & Beauty industry is absolutely massive, and continues to grow rapidly,” said Nicola Aviolet, Academy Manager.
“As a result, there’s always going to be work available.
“There’s never been a higher demand for makeup artists, hair stylists, beauty therapists or barbers, so as industry leaders we keep our apprentices at the forefront of these developments. We put a huge focus on their success.”
She adds: “Another fantastic benefit of this profession is that you can pretty much work anywhere in the world.
“There are opportunities to move into many different areas of the industry all across the globe, for example self-employment, spas, salons and even film and television. We’ve seen apprentices take on once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, such as building their own businesses and working for celebrities.”
Anyone wanting to know more about being a hair stylist can get the opportunity at the upcoming taster sessions, as well as have a go at some of the activities.
“Our academy in Maidstone runs like a live, working hair salon,” continued Nicola.
“The taster sessions we’re offering here will expose what it’s like to be a Saks apprentice and allow the opportunity to take part in activities and see what the buzz is all about.”
“Those who attend the sessions and are interested in Saks Apprenticeships will be assisted in finding a vacancy in nearby salons. We have jobs ready and waiting for applicants right now.”

You don’t necessarily have to be leaving school to apply for an apprenticeship. Mature apprentices are also welcomed and encouraged, as well as those from different backgrounds.
“We have over 40 years’ experience in hairdressing, and over 20 in apprenticeship delivery.
“We offer exceptional education that not only teaches technical skills but prepares apprentices for a successful career within their industry.”
