A discussion group for companies in the manufacturing sector has been launched.

Kent Manufacturing Focus Group will hold regular meetings and act as a one-stop shop for knowledge, contracts and expertise to the sector.

The body was launched today at the Manufacturing and Electronics Expo at the Kent Event Centre in Detling, which is also hosting the Construction Expo simultaneously.

The group was launched by Lord Digby Jones, who was presented with a cake baring its new logo.
