MALCOLM Triggs has just put out a press release - but this time it's not on behalf of Ashford council.

The man who has been the public face of the borough for 14 years is going it alone.

Malcolm has set up Go4 Marketing and Public Relations Ltd to promote companies, organisations and individuals, particularly in the Ashford area he knows so well.

His time with the council boasts an impressive list of successes: the Borough Review newsletter, numerous documents and brochures, bringing the Tour de France to Ashford in 1994, setting up a unique cross-channel conference to promote Ashford as a business venue, organising the Victoria Park fireworks as well as being responsible for twinning with Bad Munstereifel and Fougeres, Ashford’s internet site and tourism promotion.

He says: “Ashford is an exciting, growing town and I am keen to work with the wide range of companies within the borough to help them get their message across to the public.”
