Canterbury-based digital marketing agency AM Marketing has been acquired by Maidstone's Reflect Digital.
The takeover comes after the two firms started working more closely over the last 18 months.
Search agency Reflect Digital is part of the LAB Group of agencies.
Those behind the deal say it will allow existing AM Marketing clients to access "a broader range of services to fuel their own business objectives and growth plans further".
The team at AM Marketing will integrate into Reflect Digital's paid media team.
Becky Simms, founder and CEO at Reflect Digital, said: “We’ve known, and admired, AM Marketing for many years seeing the success they have generated for many clients through paid media.
“It is a great opportunity for Reflect Digital to continue the growth of the paid media team, with some fantastic clients that will feel right at home and will benefit from being surrounded by a wider digital skillset.
“It is the natural conclusion of the last 18 months to formalise the way we have been working and to build on the opportunity for clients and the team.”
Amy Hopper (previously McManus), CEO at AM Marketing, said: ”I'm very proud of AM Marketing and everything we have achieved in the past eight years.
“I'm writing this quote from the desk I founded AM Marketing on in 2013, with a huge sense of pride and hope for the next chapter in our journey.
“Reflect Digital has always been a great collaborator and supporter of AM, and we're so looking forward to what the future holds.
“Becky and I first met at the Kent Women in Business awards over five years ago and I have admired her ever since.
“What started as business collaboration and two digital women championing each other, has turned into a great friendship, and now partnership.
“We're very proud to be becoming part of the Reflect Digital family and to be bringing our expertise to their incredible team."
Reflect Digital was acquired by LAB Group in 2019.
