A popular Mexican restaurant specialising in cocktails and exotic cuisine is up for sale.
Escondido, in Sandgate High Street, near Folkestone, has been run by the same team for more than 12 years.
But they have decided to retire from the restaurant trade and hope to sell it as a going concern.
On the market through property advisor Christie & Co the leasehold is up for grabs for £65,000.
The restaurant comprises a 90-cover dining area with wooden tables and chairs, bar area, good size commercial kitchen and large basement area.
On the first floor is a large storage area, which, the agent advises, could be utilised as further dining space for an additional 20 covers, if required.
Trading seven days a week, the business is currently owner-operated with a team of full and part time staff.
Current owners Gemma Race and Laurielle Hampton said: “We are looking to move on from the sector for family and personal reasons, but we will certainly miss the business, as it has served us well for many years, and hope the person coming in can continue what we have achieved.”
James Hughes, business agent at Christie & Co added: “Escondido is a well-regarded restaurant which prides itself on its fresh home-made dishes and stylish cocktails.
"Benefitting from regular repeat custom, as well as tourists visiting the area, this is a great opportunity which will appeal to both owner operators and commercial operators, who may wish to continue trading the business as it is or introduce a new concept to the village.”
