ALMOST £1.8 million has been awarded to help rural businesses in the Swale coastal marshes improve their marketing skills.
The money from the Department for Environment and the European Union will also be used to develop computer skills among rural businesses, including farms.
The area covered by the grant includes other sparsely populated areas like the North Downs to Romney Marsh and Dungeness on the south coast.
