BUSINESSES are being urged not to miss out on free advice and support on IT-related issues.

Time is running out for companies to register for the Getting the best from IT seminar being held on Thursday, June 23 at St Augustine's, Westgate-on-Sea.

The event has a theme of Wireless Technology and will feature free workshops, seminars and one-to-one advice clinics as well as 20 exhibitors of technology and products.

It will run from 9.30am until 4pm and includes a free buffet lunch.

Richard Bavington-Jones, connectivity and bandwidth project manager at Technology Enterprise Kent, the organiser of the event, said: "The event will help people understand how technology can help them in their everyday working lives.

"We can offer advice on almost any IT-related issue and also how technology can help you market your business."

The event is also being supported by SEEDA and Business Link Kent.
