Moat Housing has received an award for its marketing campaign about living at the regenerated Stanhope estate in Ashford..
The team beat competition from fellow housing associations and developers to take the accolade for the most imaginative marketing campaign for its ‘Love living @ the new Stanhope’ campaign on Friday, April 26.
Halfway through selling 73 new apartments across eight phases at Stanhope, sales became more difficult and so, with a limited budget, Moat rebranded the scheme ‘The New Stanhope’ at minimal cost.
Moat marketed to people earning around £12,000 to match the low deposit and £18,750, 25% share, available.
The awards were run by First Time Buyer magazine, where readers nominated their favourite entries, and the presentation was made by TV presenter Nikki Chapman.
Moat’s sales director Marilyn DiCara said: “Providers of affordable homes are going through arguably the most challenging period in our history.
“I’m proud that Moat’s creativity, dedication and passion to helping first-time buyers has been recognised by these well-respected awards.”
