A mobile technology developer has signed a contract worth at least £218,000 with one a “well known information provider”.
Crimson Tide are known for their mpro5 system – a software based on the cloud to allow companies to schedule deliveries and jobs.
The deal will ensure the client, which has not been named, with the proof of delivery information for products.
The system will make connection with mobile devices held by delivery drivers, communicating with the information provider’s schedule to keep a record of deliveres around London.
The Tunbridge Wells based company is making strides in innovation with the mpro5 system, with the app being rolled out on Microsoft’s Azure cloud system – expected to make its debut in the second half of the year.
Executive chairman of Crimson Tide, Barrie Whipp, said: “This long term contract with a leading market participant demonstrates the ongoing success and increasing scalability of the mpro solution.
“As a trusted provider of enterprise mobile solutions, our footprint is growing and our software evolving to meet a market hungry for cross platform cloud mobility”.
Crimson Tide was founded in 1996 and listed on the London Stock Exchange in 2006.
The company launched its mpro applications in 2004 and the mobile business systems have since become the business' primary focus.
