A commercial cleaning company has snapped up one of its Kent rivals for an undisclosed sum.
Monitor Services, based in Northfleet, has taken over Euroclean Contractors in Lympne, near Hythe.
Founded in 1987, Monitor increased turnover by 14% to £3.2 million in 2014 according to its latest accounts filed to Companies House.
Its clients include local authorities, community housing and the food and catering industry.
Director Clive Pyzer said: “This acquisition is an important step for us in further consolidating our position in the South East region by bringing together two of the region’s leading cleaning businesses.”
Monitor was advised on the purchase by law firm Rawlison Butler, which has offices in Kings Hill.
Lead partner Danos Athanasi said: “We are delighted to work with Monitor as a new and acquisitive client and to help the deal complete successfully for all involved.”
